An independent winemaker grows their own vines, vinifies their own grapes and sells their bottles under their own name. They control the entire production chain: vineyard management, vinification, ageing and bottling. This is the definition of a grower-producer, as opposed to a négociant who buys grapes or bulk wine to blend and sell.

You access the same cuvées available at the property, at cellar-door prices, with full traceability: appellation, vintage, farming method and cellar practices are all detailed on every listing. Yes. At Avenue des Vins, every order is packed and shipped directly by the estate from its own cellar. You receive your wine in the same conditions as a purchase at the property, with particular care given to packaging by the winemaker themselves.

Prices vary depending on the appellation and the estate. On Avenue des Vins, you will find accessible cuvées from as little as €8-10, cellar-worthy wines between €20 and €50, and exceptional cuvées beyond that. Buying direct guarantees cellar-door pricing, with no négociant mark-up or middleman margin.

In supermarkets, you buy négociant wines or high-volume brands. At Avenue des Vins, every bottle comes from a grower who planted their vines, followed their harvest and vinified the wine themselves.
