Burgundy, in central-eastern France, is one of France's oldest wine-growing regions, renowned for its great vintages. The AOC Ladoix appellation extends over the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune vineyards, covering some 100 hectares of marl, clay and limestone soils. Pinot noir and Chardonnay vines are planted in this appellation, which produces both red and white wines (some of which are Premier Cru). The whites are mineral, full-bodied and fat, with notes of white flowers. The reds are round and tannic, with a complex aromatic bouquet. They can be kept for 3 to 5 years for the whites and 5 to 8 years for the reds.

Nestled in the northern part of the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy, the Ladoix appellation takes its name from “Ladoic,” a village founded during the Gallo-Roman era. This land has been dedicated to viticulture for centuries. Ladoix’s rich history is closely tied to that of Burgundy’s great wines and has become a sought-after appellation for lovers of both red and white Burgundy wines looking for good value for money.
Ladoix enjoys a semi-continental climate typical of Burgundy, with cold winters and warm summers, allowing grapes to reach optimal ripeness.
The soils of Ladoix are primarily composed of limestone, marl, and clay, giving the wines their distinctive mineral character.
Like most Burgundy appellations, AOC Ladoix produces red and white wines exclusively from single grape varieties. For red wines, Pinot Noir is king, delivering wines with great finesse and elegance. Chardonnay also thrives here, producing outstanding white wines.
Ruby red in color. On the nose, aromas of red fruits (cherry, raspberry) with spicy and floral notes (elderflower). On the palate, AOC Ladoix red wines are delicate and full-bodied with smooth, silky tannins.
Pale gold color with green highlights. The nose reveals aromas of citrus, quince, white flowers, and figs. The palate is rich and full, with refreshing acidity that ensures balance and a long mineral finish.
