The Sauternes appellation includes almost 2,000 ha of vines that are planted on gravel soil, while the sub-soil is clay-limestone. The maximum authorised yield is 25 hectolitres per hectare. The estate includes 18 hectares in the appellation, including 16 in production. Most of the plots are grouped around the Château, in the communes of Sauternes, Bommes and Preignac. In the heart of the most reputable Sauternes crus, the vineyard benefits from remarkable sun exposure and has all the best conditions to produce a very great Sauternes wines.
