A heterogenous year in Bordeaux, but the wines get away with it here, with fruit, vivacity and round tannins. Blend : 51% Merlot, 42% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Petit Verdot.Tasting: The nose is intense, deep. Aromas of liquorice, blueberry and spices little by little give way to notes resulting from ageing. These aromas masterfully contribute to the complexity, without ever stifling the passion of the fruit. This fresh and intense aromatic character is revisited on the palate. The structure, marked in particular by the perfectly mature Carbernet Suavignon, develops power and smoothness. Remarkably tightm the tannins are long and drawn out. The fresh and rapid finish bears the signature of the great terroirs of Médoc. Food-wine pairings: Pieces of red meat served with a "sweet jus" tournedos Rossini, a stuffed pigeon, a great dark chocolate such as a pure Madagascan Criollo.
