There is no shortage of sights in the Jura winegrowing region. Alongside the yellow wines and the straw wines, the surprising Macvin du Jura is the only French liqueur wine to be made of marc brandy. This wine can be white, rosé or red.

It is liquorous, amber-coloured, and a strong and special fruity aromatic (with candied fruits especially).

It’s a wine that offers surprising pairings with fruity flavours (grapefruit in the lead), with desserts or with a great cheese.

This wine is produced across the Jura vineyard, from the wort of the five listed Jura varieties of the Controlled designation of origin (AOC) « Côtes du jura » : Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Savagnin, Trousseau and Poulsard. To this wort is added, up to one third, a Jura marc brandy to mutate the wine, and this as early as the harvest.
