Located in the southwest quarter of France, the Bordeaux vineyard is known for its fine wines. Among the numerous designations it includes, one can find the AOC Médoc.
In the wine growing area of the Médoc, this designation spreads over 5 800 hectares of vines, on gravelly soils. The red wines of this designation are made of cabernet-franc, cabernet-sauvignon, merlot, malbec and petit verdot varieties. They have an aging potential from 5 to 15 years and are known for their wide range of aromas (red, cooked, candied and dried fruits, cocoa, liquorice, spices, undergrowth) and their strength.
