The exceptional quality of the 2009 vintage and of this one inevitably draws comparison with the prestigious 1989/1990 duo. Blend : 85% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Malbec Production : 145,000 bottles Vinification : In stainless steel and wooden vats. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration for 4 weeks with temperature regulation. Ageing : 15 months in new barrels (40% volume) with malolactic fermentation and ageing on lees for 6 months. 12 months in year-old barrels (40%) and 2-year-old barrels (20%) Yield : 42 hl / ha Tasting notes : Deep red colour.
