In 1993, Philippe Fezas was the fifth generation to take the reins of Domaine Chiroulet, which had been in the Fezas family for 150 years. Located on the upper Gascony hills, the estate gets its name from the word “Chiroula”, which means, “the wind that blows” in the local dialect. Knowing how best to benefit from this blowing wind and the south-facing sun exposure, Chiroulet produces characterful wines that can be drunk throughout a meal: from aperitif to digestif.

This harvest when the grapes are slightly over-ripe (passerillage), under the last rays of the autumn sun, is an original expression of the aromas of the Gros Manseng (70%) and Petit Manseng (30%). The combination of the fresh fruit notes and the dried, slightly honeyed fruit with a tangy finish, without sugary heaviness, gives this wine complexity,...

Un vin surprenant par son équilibre parfait entre rondeur et acidité. Super rapport qualité/prix, je ne connaissais pas bien les vins de cette région et c'est un véritable coup de coeur!
