AOC Bugey Pétillant

Savoie-Bugey

Grape varieties:: 80% Gamay - 20% Pinot Terroir: Clay-limestone soil Characteristics: La Cuisse Rose is an exceptional sparkling rosé. The light fruity wine, which is low in alcohol at just 8.5% by volume, is an exclusive product of the domaine which owns the secret to its production. Its intense scents of red fruits (raspberry, blackcurrant, blackberries) will delight the palates of wine lovers. Imprisoned by the finesse of its bubbles, the natural sugar of the grapes (that carry the initial aromas) is what makes this Cuisse Rose so original. Its colour, like a setting sun, invites to the pleasure of celebration on the road to a serene day after. Whatever the occasion, both young and old can get together around this disrupted tradition.                                It is produced using traditional rosé vinification methods, halted during the alcoholic fermentation by the application of cold, thanks to our double-sided stainless steel vats that allow water at a very low temperature to circulate inhibiting the action of the fermentative yeasts. The resulting wine is then filtered and passes through a machine, to which we own the secret, for intensification of the gas and then bottling. Storage time: 1 to 2 years Alcohol by volume: 8% vol Serving temperature: 4° to 6° C

DOMAINE TRICHON

01680 Lhuis - Savoie-Bugey

“Passion for vines and wine to the deepest roots.”Connected to Bugey wines for three generations, Domaine Trichon now grows 12 ha of vines using organic production. Our production methods are based mainly around mutual respect for the environment; nature is well-equipped with its own effective, natural methods to fight against predators. Thus, ladybirds very effectively destroy spider mites and we also use plants such as buckthorn, nettle, among others, complemented by small doses of sulphur and copper (used historically by our ancestors). We work with love and passion to grow characterful, authentic wines, with the best value for money, which we would be delighted to introduce you to!
