Grape varieties:: 100% Pinot Noir Terroir: Clay-limestone soil Characteristics: Pinot is the basis of a fine, well-structured wine and gives it a certain elegance. It features a red colour with silky, well-blended tannins where red fruits reveal the low yield that enables it to express its flavoursome qualities.                            The Pinot will improve over 5 to 6 years following its harvest, enabling the relatively complex aromas of this wine to be revealed.                              Storage time: 6 to 7 years Alcohol by volume: 12% vol Serving temperature: Room temperature (around 17° to 18° C). To enjoy our wine at its best, we advise you to open the bottle an hour before serving and/or decanting it.

the winemaker's suggestion

Notre Pinot s'alliera très bien avec de la volaille ou un poisson ce qui en révèlera toute sa finesse. Il agrémentera aussi très bien un plateau de fromages doux.

DOMAINE TRICHON

01680 Lhuis - Savoie-Bugey

“Passion for vines and wine to the deepest roots.”Connected to Bugey wines for three generations, Domaine Trichon now grows 12 ha of vines using organic production. Our production methods are based mainly around mutual respect for the environment; nature is well-equipped with its own effective, natural methods to fight against predators. Thus, ladybirds very effectively destroy spider mites and we also use plants such as buckthorn, nettle, among others, complemented by small doses of sulphur and copper (used historically by our ancestors). We work with love and passion to grow characterful, authentic wines, with the best value for money, which we would be delighted to introduce you to!
