Grape varieties:: 100% Mondeuse Terroir: Clay-limestone soil Characteristics: The Mondeuse is a regional grape variety that's unique in the world, grown on the slopes of the terroirs of Bugey and Savoie. The wine produced from this grape variety is very tannic, solid and heady. It is rich in aromas such as redcurrants or raspberries, but also mineral. This wine will reach its quintessence after being laid down for several years to allow for complete maturity of the aromas. The aromas will achieve their grandeur when the bottle is opened an hour before serving and by decanting the wine. Storage time: 5 to 6 years Alcohol by volume: 12% vol Serving temperature: Room temperature (around 17° to 18° C). To enjoy our wine at its best, we advise you to open the bottle an hour before serving and/or decanting it. Wine and food pairing: Our Mondeuse is a great accompaniment for red meats, either with or without sauces, and game. It will reveal its full character with a selection of good mature cheeses.
