In the center-east of France, Burgundy is one of the oldest French wine regions, known for its very great vintages. It includes in particular the AOC La Tâche. The appellation area of this AOC extends into the Côte de Nuits vineyard (Côte d'Or) on just over 6 hectares of stony and marl soils. Pinot Noir vines are planted in this appellation, which produces Grand Cru red wine. It is one of the most recognized Burgundy wines, both powerful, velvety and long in the mouth, and its aromas are characteristic of the grape variety used for its production, namely red fruits and flowers, as well as notes of liquorice. It has very good aging potential (between 20 and 30 years).
