Château Nodoz
Bordeaux WineChâteau Nodoz is based in the commune of Tauriac in the Côtes de Bourg appellation. Sandrine and Jean-François Magdeleine-Cenac, both Bordeaux lawyers, left their lives in 2002 to devote themselves to the estate. Château Nodoz predates the French Revolution, and was taken over by the Magdeleine family in 1930 for renovation.
THE NODOZ STYLE
Château Nodoz is managed using sustainable agriculture methods, and comprises 38ha of vines spread over 3 communes: Tauriac, Lansac and Bourg sur Gironde. "Our style? Wines to be enjoyed on all occasions. The Cuvée Nodoz, made from new barrels, is a wine for laying down that reveals a sublime aromatic palette, while the Cuvée Galau is ideal for a meal with family or friends. The Château is HVE certified.

A wine made from a single grape variety such as Sauvignon Blanc to extract concentrated fruit and incomparable finesse. A pale yellow wine with intense citrus and mango aromas, fruity to perfection, round and full-bodied, with a lively, invigorating finish.

With its deep, limpid ruby color, this 2022 expresses intense red fruit aromas combined with hints of morello cherries and crushed strawberries. Like the nose, taste impressions unfold long and powerfully on the palate, revealing a beautifully balanced structure. The palate is dense, fleshy and harmonious, with high-quality tannins.

This white wine is a single-varietal, 100% Sauvignon Blanc, aged in 400-liter oak barrels. Lots of finesse on the palate, with aromas of white peach and a slight fatness at the end. A wine with delicate, silky tannins, for drinking or cellaring for 1 or 2 years.
