“Grand Cru” Tour: Vineyard Stroll and Wine Tasting

Head to Domaine de Rocheville, Chemin des Hauts de Valbrun, in Parnay. The owner, Philippe Porché, will welcome you to explore his “Grand Cru” tour.

On the agenda: a visit to the Domaine’s wine cellar, followed by the aging cellars. And saving the best for last, a tasting of Domaine de Rocheville's finest wines.

“Grande Réserve” Tour: Balloon Ride Over the Loire

Have you always dreamed of taking a hot air balloon ride, soaring above the Loire region to admire its stunning châteaux and vineyards? Then join Philippe and Agnès, winemakers at Domaine de Rocheville.

On the agenda: discovering vineyard work through the seasons on one of the Domaine’s plots. You'll also visit the aging cellars, enjoy a guided wine tasting, and then embark on a hot air balloon for a breathtaking view of the landscapes that define Saumur’s charm: the Loire Valley, Château de Saumur, Château de Montsoreau, tuffeau stone houses, and troglodyte dwellings… not to mention the Saumur-Champigny vineyards. The official balloon subtly reminds us that "excessive drinking is dangerous for your health" (but don't worry, the tasting happens after the flight, and we don’t plan on anyone jumping overboard!).

“En Majesté” Tour: Wine Tasting on the Water

Wondering what a “toue” is? It's a flat-bottomed boat with a wooden cabin, traditionally used to transport goods. Philippe and Agnès Porché invite you aboard this historical vessel for a 3-hour cruise “along the Loire,” where you'll discover the magnificent landscapes lining this royal river.
