Wine-Infused Coffee: The Californian Invention Combining Two Popular Beverages
Previously, we talked about blue wine and cannabis-infused wine. Today, we present to you wine-infused coffee, a Californian invention known as Wine Infused Coffee.
Wine Infused Coffee: A Unique Blend of Two Popular Drinks
Invented by Molinari Private Reserve, wine-infused coffee is based on a very simple concept: merging two of the world's most popular beverages into one. To bring this project to life, the American company soaked coffee beans in wine, then dried and hand-roasted them. This process reportedly took over two years. Although this idea might seem quirky and original, it makes sense for Molinari Private Reserve, as the company operates vineyards in the renowned Napa Valley wine region.
Wine-Infused Coffee: Alcohol-Free Beans
So, what’s the point of drinking coffee infused with wine ? After all, these two beverages are usually enjoyed at different times of the day! This is probably why the founders emphasize that Wine Infused Coffee is actually a coffee flavored with wine. The coffee beans have absorbed the taste of the wine but are completely alcohol-free. Essentially, you’ll experience the flavor of vinified grapes in your morning brew, which might be a bit richer than usual.
The only thing left is to try the product for yourself. However, before you do, you should be prepared: sold in packets (around $20 for approximately 220 beans), Wine Infused Coffee sold out quickly and the brand is already out of stock.
