Start your day by exploring the rolling hills and perched villages nestled in the Dentelles de Montmirail. Stop for lunch in one of these charming spots: Beaumes-de-Venise, Le Barroux, Gigondas, Séguret, Vacqueyras, or Sablet. In the afternoon, you can choose to follow one of the many scenic hiking trails or opt for a more adventurous activity such as cycling, mountain biking, or even climbing the cliffs for the thrill-seekers.

A Wine Tasting Experience at Domaine de Cassan

No visit to the Dentelles de Montmirail would be complete without dedicating part of your weekend to exploring the vineyards. With prestigious appellations and stunning vineyards, it’s the perfect opportunity to discover the unique grape varieties and characteristics of these mountain wines. Many local vineyards welcome visitors, including Domaine de Cassan, located at both ends of the Dentelles de Montmirail mountain range. Owners Jean-Charles and Vincent Croset have even built studios on their estate to accommodate seasonal workers. "We meet many visitors who are interested in wine and ask us about our work. We’re happy to share our passion and expertise with them; it’s a very rewarding experience," the winemakers proudly share.
