IGP Côtes de Gascogne

South West France

Vent d'Hiver is produced from long raisining on the vine until the first winds of winter arrive. This wine is the pure expression of the Petit Manseng from the upper part of the Côte d'Heux.A very typical sweet wine with a superb pale gold colour and a pure open nose on notes of dried apricot and candied lemon. It is lively in the mouth with a good balance between sugar and acidity. Great length with a delicately woody finish.Rare - Surprising - For sharing!

DOMAINE CHIROULET

32100 Larroque sur l'Osse - South West France

In 1993, Philippe Fezas was the fifth generation to take the reins of Domaine Chiroulet, which had been in the Fezas family for 150 years. Located on the upper Gascony hills, the estate gets its name from the word “Chiroula”, which means, “the wind that blows” in the local dialect. Knowing how best to benefit from this blowing wind and the south-facing sun exposure, Chiroulet produces characterful wines that can be drunk throughout a meal: from aperitif to digestif.
