2017 will remain etched in memory as the year of frost in Bordeaux. However, the geographical location and terroir of Château de La Rivière (its slopes, woodlands, and proximity to the Dordogne River) played a protective role, preventing the cold from settling in. As a result, only 20% of the vineyard was affected by this episode. The 2017 vintage was produced under normal conditions, allowing us to craft a truly great wine.
Blend: 84% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% MalbecProduction: 120,000 bottles
