The Ponty family settled here to grow, vinify and share cuvees that celebrate the Bordeaux terroir in all its richness.
A committed conversion to organic and biodynamics
Today, it is Helene Ponty, the fifth generation, who watches over this family property. Convinced that the quality of wine is born of a living nature, she has initiated the estate's conversion to organic and biodynamic farming. Every intervention in the vines is designed to preserve biodiversity and foster the vitality of the soils.
In the cellar, the philosophy stays the same: minimal intervention, respect for the grape and a pure expression of the terroir. Hélène Ponty, between heritage and modernity
For Helene, taking over the family estate was a return to her roots as much as a life project. After studying law and business, then working in the United States and China, she returned to Fronsac with the desire to bring her vision: a sustainable, harmonious and inspiring vineyard. She imagines the estate as a living ecosystem, where each player, the vine, the fauna, the flora, the team, the visitors, finds their place. This sensitive, humanist approach can be felt in the wines: sincere, balanced, inhabited by the light of the terroir.
