Domaine Geneletti - the soul of Jura wines between heritage, terroir and character
Domaine Geneletti
A family Jura estate, in Chateau-Chalon and L'Etoile, since 1976 (Michel then David Geneletti). Cotes du Jura, L'Etoile, Vin Jaune, Chateau-Chalon, Vin de Paille and Macvin.
A deeply rooted family history. In the heart of the Jura, Domaine Geneletti tells a story handed down from generation to generation. In 1976, Michel Geneletti took over the property of his grandmother, Madame veuve Dufort. Two decades later, in 1997, his son David joined the adventure, bringing a new breath and a modern vision to the estate.
This family continuity creates a true signature: that of an estate where tradition and renewal meet in every bottle.

A unique terroir, a rare diversity
The Jura is a land of contrasts, of ancient limestones, star-shaped fossils and suspended landscapes. Domaine Geneletti expresses this singularity through a range that reflects the richness of the appellation: Cotes du Jura in white, red and rose, with a vibrant typicity; L'Etoile, an elegant white born from a soil with the famous pentacrines; Vin Jaune, treasure of the Jura aged more than six years without topping up, including the prestigious Chateau-Chalon in its 62 cl clavelin; Vin de Paille, a captivating sweet wine harvested grape by grape; and Macvin, a jewel of the French appellations. Since 2005, the estate also makes Arbois wines, further broadening the palette of Jura expressions.
A welcome place steeped in history
Domaine Geneletti opens its doors in Chateau-Chalon, one of the most beautiful villages of France, perched on a rocky spur overlooking the Seille valley. This spectacular setting has inspired writers, Benedictine monks, and even the crews of the film L'Espagnol, partly shot in the family home. In L'Etoile, the estate's second welcome site, you will discover the limestone lands where the famous pentacrines rest, fossilised witnesses of the marine past of the region. A walk is enough to understand why the wines take on so much character there.
