Since 1994, the estate has been led by Valérie Rousselle, who has brought a modern dynamism without ever breaking with the soul of the place. Under her impetus, Château Roubine has committed to sustainable viticulture, certified in Agriculture Raisonnée (integrated farming) since 2017, with some cuvées now farmed organically. The aim is clear: to produce wines of character while respecting the natural balance of the terroir.
A deeply rooted Provençal history
Château Roubine is a living witness to the history of Provence. Already known in Antiquity, crossed by the Roman Julienne road, it passed in the Middle Ages into the hands of the Templars, then of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem. Over the centuries, it belonged to great Provençal families before being divided up during the French Revolution.
Its contemporary renaissance is part of this continuity: to preserve, hand down, sublimate.
