The family vineyard's extent reflects their expertise. For red wines, the Mongeard-Mugneret family primarily cultivates Pinot Noir, the only grape variety permitted for the 35 Appellations d'Origine Contrôlée. The sole exception is the Bourgogne Passetoutgrain appellation, where Gamay is blended with Pinot Noir at approximately 50% during vinification.
