AOC Saint-péray
Covering more than 65,000 hectares of vines, the Rhône Valley is France's second-largest vineyard, covering 6 départements between Vienne and Avignon. The AOC Saint-Péray extends over 2 communes in the Ardèche department (Saint-Péray and Toulaud), covering some 70 hectares of soil composed of limestone scree, silt and granitic rock. Marsanne and Roussanne vines are planted in the appellation's Mediterranean climate, producing dry white wines with good ageing potential (2 to 10 years on average). These wines are both acidic and full-bodied, with a highly floral (acacia, hawthorn, violet), honeyed and mineral bouquet.

Style of AOC Saint-Péray Wines
-
Still White Wine: These wines have a pale yellow color with green reflections in their youth. The bouquet evokes aromas of white-fleshed fruits, flowers (hawthorn, acacia, violet), with occasional hints of honey and almond, evolving into more complex nuances with age. On the palate, they are ample and generous, balanced by a slight acidity and a beautiful minerality.
-
Sparkling White Wine: These wines have a clear color with fine and persistent bubbles. The nose opens with notes of white flowers, citrus fruits, and brioche. The effervescence is elegant and well-integrated, accompanied by fruity flavors and a mineral framework that structures the palate.
