AOC Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise

Spread over more than 65,000 hectares of vines, the Rhone Valley vineyard is the second largest French vineyard and covers 6 departments between Vienne and Avignon. It includes the AOC Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise.The appellation area of ​​this AOC extends north of Carpentras (Vaucluse) over some 510 hectares of soils composed of limestone, pebbles, sand, marl and sandstone. Muscat à petits grains vines, subject to the Mediterranean climate of this geographical area, are planted in this appellation and produce white Vins Doux Naturels (VDN). These are powerful and balanced wines, with intense aromas of exotic fruits, dried apricot and honey.
