It is said that well before Greek civilisation, the Sileni designated gods of the fields. The domaine owes its name to the discovery of a clay seal dating from antiquity and representing a head of Silenus. Jean Claude Mas and Giorgio Grai brought their savoir-faire together to ensure that this terroir should express its exceptional character. The vines are made up of Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan, Mourvèdre and Grenache and are located in the commune of Saint Pons de Mauchiens.

Couleur : Rouge grenat profond.
Nez : Arômes épicés et très méditerranéens (senteur de garrigue).
Bouche : Alliant puissance et finesse. Une grande fraîcheur avec des arômes de réglisse, de cerise noires très mûres voire confites.

Garde : Dans les 5 premières années, on appréciera les arômes fruités qui évoluent ensuite vers des notes plus mûres.
