Alsace WineIn the heart of Alsace in the South of Colmar this family estate expands over 8 hectares. The vineyard is located at the foot of the natural park in the Vosges in Gueberschwir. Here for 4 generations of independent winemakers, since 1996, it is Muriel’s turn, Jean-Claude and Bernadette’s daughter, to be in charge of the vinification and the day-to-day work in the vineyard, at the winery and the customer service. With the help of her husband, the estate has been commiting for a long time in protecting the environment with the conviction that a healthy soil allows to produce a good wine. Wine woman or wine for women ? ‘My wines are a bit like my children. I raise them in order for them to blossom, by taking care of them, by guiding them without imposing my choices. They are their own self, not necessarily feminin, sincere and genuine, « good in their own skin » and digest. In the cellar, without imposing my style, I try to intervene as less as I can, I use indigeneous yeasts and I have access to modern tools for a vinification that is done as well as can be. The wines are fruity, expressive as of their first years and their flavors intensify afterwards. We sell them once we think that they have reached the right level of expression. This wine has a light yellow colour, revealing a round, fruity nose. Fresh and silky on the palate, easy to drink with notes of citrus and yellow fruit.

A lovely dry, fruity aperitif wine, just like its cousin. Delicate and light, this wine offers notes of white-fleshed fruit such as peach and pear, enhanced by fresh herbs. The palate is dry, combining elegant, refreshing acidity with the subtle roundness typical of Pinots. The aromas are also beautifully long.
