Champagne Serveaux: a family and terroir story in the heart of the Marne Valley

In Passy-sur-Marne, a Champagne village nestled between vineyard slopes and the meanders of the river, time flows to the rhythm of the vine. It is here that Martine and Pascal Serveaux, together with their children Élodie, Nicolas and Hugo, have been cultivating a 15-hectare family vineyard for many years, guided by a simple and powerful conviction: great Champagne is born first from the land, and then from the care given to it.

A united and committed family of winegrowers

At the Serveaux estate, the vine is never a backdrop—it is a daily reality. Each plot is known, observed and felt. Season after season, the family supports every vine, from budbreak to harvest, with constant high standards and deep respect for the environment.

This patient, precise and almost intimate work in the vineyard is reflected in Champagnes that are straight, sincere and deeply rooted in their origin.

Meunier, the signature grape of the house

Long underestimated, Pinot Meunier finds here one of its finest expressions. A true pioneer of Meunier, the Serveaux family believed very early in this emblematic grape variety of the Marne Valley, capable of producing wines that are generous, expressive and remarkably refined.

Alongside Meunier, Pinot Noir brings structure and depth, while Chardonnay contributes elegance and freshness. A perfectly mastered Champagne trio, worked plot by plot.

Respectful and demanding viticulture

Throughout the year, the vines are tended with rigor: precise pruning, careful observation, measured interventions and full respect for soils and biodiversity. Nothing is left to chance, yet nothing is forced.

The objective is clear: allow the grapes to express their full potential, without artifice.

This philosophy naturally extends to the cellar, where winemaking favors precision, aromatic purity and faithful expression of terroir.

Distinctive cuvées, true reflections of terroir

The house expresses its savoir-faire through several complementary cuvée ranges:

Ancestral Range: Champagnes of character, deep and authentic

Terroir Range: a precise reading of the soils and grape varieties of the Marne Valley

Vintage Range: rare vintages, crafted for time and gastronomy

Each cuvée tells a different story of the Serveaux vineyard, balancing Champagne tradition with a contemporary vision.

Grower Champagnes for discerning enthusiasts

Champagne Serveaux is made for those who enjoy understanding what they drink. These are wines for sharing, but also for reflection—where you can sense the soil, the grape variety, the vintage and, above all, the human hand behind the wine.

Here, there is no standardized discourse. Only honest bubbles, born from a living terroir and a fully committed family.

Why does Pinot Meunier from the Marne Valley play a key role in the identity, finesse and expression of grower Champagnes such as those crafted by the Serveaux family ?
