How would you describe your estate ?
One house, three voices, between tradition and fresh energy
Champagne Akileire is a very young house, created by Benoit, Camille and Timothé, in Chézy-sur-Marne. Benoit, father to Camille and Timothé, is the one who lives on fresh air: a winemaker by trade and by vocation, he holds the know-how and the experience, and today passes that knowledge on to his children. Camille loves wide open spaces while keeping her feet on the ground. Drawn into a passion for wine, she developed a genuine curiosity for cuvées of every kind and brings a different outlook, gained outside Champagne: she is the one who oversees winemaking. Timothé is defined by speed and adrenaline: naturally, he became the family's tractor driver.

When did you catch the wine bug ?
An obvious choice for the father, a slower-burning one for his children
For Benoit, the question never really came up: the family estate had to be taken over. For Camille, the desire came later, during student holidays spent helping with blending on the estate. Timothé, since he was a child, always knew he would become a winemaker. Throwing himself into this family adventure was second nature for someone who had always wanted to work the vines.

What philosophy guides your work in the vines and the cellar ?
To rise up is to take flight
For Benoit, Camille and Timothé, independence felt like an obvious choice: a shared, collective desire to do things their own way and, above all, with their own hands. In the vines as in the cellar, their rule stays the same: intervene as little as possible, but do it well, and do it themselves. The starting point of this venture is a perfect complementarity: all three move between the vines and the cellar, sometimes together, sometimes each free to follow their own rhythm. Everyone knows what needs to be done, a natural, instinctive understanding, a shared spirit.
To rise up is to take flight. To become your own master, to choose your own direction, to throw yourself into the winds and tides to better ride the wave.
Which wine best represents your estate ?
MIKE ECHO UNIFORM, the North Slope and South Slope blend
The champagne that best represents Champagne Akileire carries a name that owes nothing to chance: MIKE ECHO UNIFORM, a 100% Meunier. This cuvée reveals the terroir of Chézy through the blending of the North Slope and the South Slope, a way of letting the two faces of the same vineyard speak to each other.
MIKE ECHO UNIFORM, our 100% Meunier. It perfectly reveals the terroir of Chézy, the blend of the North Slope and the South Slope.
Benoit, Camille and Timothé happily drink it as an aperitif, kept as simple as possible. Their personal preferences also say a lot about their diversity: Benoit leans toward Chardonnay, Camille toward Meunier, Timothé toward Pinot Noir. Yet all three agree on one colour, white, and on one wine to open among friends: champagne. One word is enough for them to describe their estate: airy.
Why follow Champagne Akileire ?
Diversity, the seasons, nature... and sharing
What motivates Benoit, Camille and Timothé every morning is the diversity of the craft, the changing seasons, the contact with nature, and above all, sharing. For the years ahead, their ambition is simple and direct: to grow the production and sale of their cuvées, to share them more widely, and to bring pleasure to everyone who comes across them.
Following Champagne Akileire means following a house that is still young, yet already carried by a rare identity: that of a family where everyone has found their place, between tradition passed down, fresh energy, and a taste for speed.
