IGP des Portes de Méditerranée

In the south-east of France, the very sunny vineyard of Provence extends over approximately 200km between the Mediterranean and the Alps, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, the Var and the Alpes Maritimes. It includes the IGP Portes de la Méditerranée.The appellation area of ​​this IGP extends over the territory of 8 departments in the south of France (Alpes de Haute Provence, Hautes-Alpes, Alpes-Maritimes, Ardèche, Bouches-du-Rhône, Drôme, Var, Vaucluse) and Corsica as well as in certain communes of Isère, Loire and Rhône. The white, rosé and red wines of this appellation are known for their great diversity and reflect the characteristics of the terroir on which they were produced but also of the grape varieties used in their production.
