A nose that expresses candied fruits, beeswax and citrus fruit jelly. In the mouth, significant concentration and with excellent balance. The aromas are delightful and persistent. A hugely successful vintage. Tasting advice: this wine is superb as an aperitif and would go well with a Catalan fish dish, with scallops accompanied by onions, with a blue cheese, strawberry tart or apricots, or a rum-and-raisin or passion-fruit sorbet.
