A vineyard passed down as a living heritage In the heart of Loupiac, on the right bank of the Garonne, the Bord family cultivates far more than vines. For more than six generations, they have shaped a landscape, a philosophy, and above all a wine style that bears their signature. Clos Jean and Château Rondillon, the two estates of the domaine, stretch across the most sought-after slopes of the appellation, facing South and Southwest, where sunlight sculpts grape ripeness and the cool morning mists give birth to great sweet wines.

Loupiac is unlike any other land. Its gentle hills, shaped over millennia, rest on limestone subsoils and clay-gravel soils that retain warmth while allowing constant breathing for the vines. This natural alchemy creates the perfect conditions for the development of botrytis cinerea, the famous noble rot essential to the creation of the great sweet white wines of Bordeaux.
