Founded around 1870 by an ancestor of the Arnaud family, the estate reflects more than a century and a half of passion for the vine. Passed down from generation to generation, it has kept its family roots while adapting to the developments of modern viticulture.
Still today, the founder's spirit guides the daily work of the Arnaud family: to preserve the terroir, enhance the grape and pass on Médoc excellence.

An exceptional terroir in the heart of Saint-Estèphe
The 8-hectare vineyard stretches over the prestigious terroirs of Leyssac, Marbuzet and Blanquet, three emblematic localities of the Saint-Estèphe appellation. The soils mix clayey gravels, sands, fine gravels and clay-limestones, offering a remarkable complementarity. This diversity allows the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes to express their full potential, giving birth to wines that are at once powerful, deep and of great aromatic elegance.
Bordered by the Gironde, the estate benefits from a temperate microclimate favourable to a slow ripening of the grapes, ensuring balanced, rich wines with a lovely longevity.
Know-how combining tradition and precision
Every step of the winemaking is designed in respect of the ancestral Médoc methods: manual harvest for a meticulous selection of the bunches; fermentation in tanks with regular pump-overs to favour aroma extraction; long macerations to obtain structure and intensity; ageing for 12 months in barrels, of which 30% new, to refine the tannins and develop complexity.
This rigorous, fruit-respecting approach makes it possible to obtain wines that combine Médoc tradition and contemporary finesse.

Main wine - AOC Saint-Estèphe: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, aged 12 months in barrels (30% new).

Château Arnaud - second wine
The estate's second wine - from young vines: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot, aged 12 months in barrels.

Cuvée Spéciale « Origine »
Plot selection from the historic vines: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, aged 18 months (65% new barrels).
