A rum born at sea

When sailors unknowingly invented blending. In the 17th century, along the maritime routes linking the Caribbean to Europe, space in ship holds was precious. Sailors, faced with partially filled barrels, developed the habit of transferring rums from one cask to another to optimize storage.

These improvised blends, rocked by the waves and matured over months at sea, gave rise to rums that were more complex, deeper, and more vibrant. Upon their return, crews discovered a transformed spirit, enriched with a new identity.

NAVI draws direct inspiration from this forgotten maritime heritage, bringing to it precision, control, and a contemporary vision.

A modern tribute to navigation and the stars

The name NAVI refers both to navigators and to the constellations that once guided sailors across the Atlantic. Before modern instruments, stars were the only reliable reference points for crossing the ocean.

The bottle design reflects this celestial universe: constellations, clean lines, and symbols of travel and discovery. Each cuvée becomes an invitation to journey, between sky, sea, and distant lands.

Three blends, three tasting experiences

Cassiopée: A delicate and well-balanced blend of aged rums from Barbados, Jamaica, and Martinique. Refined, approachable, and indulgent, this cuvée is ideal for discovering the NAVI universe or elevating elegant cocktails.

Andromède: A more ambitious and deeper expression, Andromède builds on the Cassiopée blend by incorporating an aged rum from Guadeloupe. The proportions evolve to deliver greater structure, roundness, and complexity, while maintaining elegance.

Icare: A singular cuvée, Icare undergoes a specific aging process in a barrel sourced from a legendary distillery in Trinidad & Tobago that has since disappeared. After resting in stainless steel tanks and finishing in bottle, Icare reveals a silky, complex, and deeply harmonious profile, balancing controlled sweetness with aromatic intensity.
