A family estate passed down from generation to generation. Mas d'Aurel is a family wine estate located in Donnazac, in the north of the Gaillac vineyard, in the Tarn. Since 1963, this property has embodied a story of transmission, work and deep attachment to the land. Founded by Bernadette and Albert Ribot, it was taken over by their daughter Brigitte alongside Jacques Molinier, before entering a new chapter with Clara Molinier, the third generation of women winegrowers.

A coherent organic commitment

Certified High Environmental Value in 2017, the estate began its conversion to organic farming in 2021: since the 2024 vintage, all the wines are certified organic. Mechanical weeding, green manure, hedges, rainwater harvesting, organic manure, bat shelters and mating disruption: as many concrete practices to preserve the soils and biodiversity.

Clara Molinier is the winegrower of Mas d'Aurel, the third generation. An oenologist by training and a winegrower by conviction, she enriched her vision through several experiences in Burgundy, Switzerland, Corsica and the Languedoc before officially taking over the estate in January 2023, with a precise, modern and committed approach to Gaillac wines.

Is Mas d'Aurel certified organic?

Yes: after a High Environmental Value (HVE) certification in 2017 and a conversion to organic farming begun in 2021, all the wines have been certified organic from the 2024 vintage. Some bottles from earlier vintages still in stock may remain HVE.
