Vignerons de Tutiac: A Model Cooperative in the Heart of Bordeaux
Based on both banks of the Gironde, the Vignerons de Tutiac bring together nearly 700 winemakers committed to responsible and sustainable viticulture. Founded in 1974, the cooperative proudly upholds major Bordeaux appellations such as Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux, Côtes de Bourg, Graves, Médoc, and Sauternes.
A Rich and Diverse Vineyard
With 5,000 hectares of vineyards, Tutiac cultivates one of the largest mosaics of terroirs in Bordeaux. Thanks to a temperate oceanic climate and a variety of soils (clay, limestone, gravel), the cooperative produces high-quality, expressive, and typical Bordeaux wines.
Iconic Bordeaux Grape Varieties
Red wines are based on Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot; while white and rosé wines rely on Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, and Muscadelle. These varietals produce aromatic, structured, and indulgent wines.
Sustainable and Certified Viticulture
Committed to an eco-friendly approach, the Vignerons de Tutiac practice sustainable farming, are transitioning to organic agriculture, and adopt growing techniques that limit chemical inputs and promote biodiversity.
