Founded in 1951 in Brissac, at the heart of the Anjou vineyard, Les Caves de la Loire are among the major players of the Loire winegrowing landscape. For more than 70 years, this cooperative has embodied a solid model, based on the strength of the collective, the intimate knowledge of the terroirs and a constant capacity to evolve with its time.
Here, wine is not a simple production: it is the fruit of the work of committed winegrowers, supported by passionate teams, united around a common goal: to reveal the diversity and the typicity of the Loire wines.

A cooperative of winegrowers, rooted in its territory
Les Caves de la Loire, a central player of the Loire Proprietes group, bring together producers spread across the whole Loire vineyard. From the Pays Nantais to the Centre-Loire, via Anjou, Touraine and the Saumurois, this unique presence makes it possible to offer a complete and coherent reading of the Loire wines. Each cuvee is the reflection of a precise terroir, a climate, a soil and above all a know-how passed down and shared.
Dumnacus Vins de Loire: a strong and committed identity
The Dumnacus Vins de Loire wines, mostly from Les Caves de la Loire, carry a powerful identity, inspired by the regional history. In the image of Dumnacus, an emblematic Gaulish chief of Anjou, these wines claim their character, their independence and their local roots.
Whites, reds, roses or sparkling wines: each cuvee is designed to express the richness of the Loire terroirs, while respecting a sustainable viticulture, from the vine to the glass.
Winegrowing tradition and assumed modernity
While Les Caves de la Loire rely on a solid heritage, they are nonetheless turned towards the future. The winemaking methods evolve constantly in order to combine technical precision, respect for the fruit, natural expression of the grapes and the expectations of today's consumers.
