Le Clos d'Isidore: a story of family, terroir and commitment
Le Clos d'Isidore
A family estate in Murviel-lès-Montpellier, facing the sea, around twenty hectares in organic farming since 2010. On the terroirs of Saint-Georges d'Orques and the Grès de Montpellier, vibrant, aromatic reds (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre), between marine freshness and Mediterranean power.
At the foot of the hills of Murviel-lès-Montpellier, facing the sea, Le Clos d'Isidore has cultivated for several generations a simple vision: to create wines that tell of their land. This family estate, today with around twenty hectares, flourishes on stony slopes bathed in sea spray, a rare environment that brings freshness, natural ripeness and balance to the grapes.
An adventure woven of generations
Since the vineyard was taken over in 1988, and even more since the arrival of Édith, the estate has been transformed: replanting of qualitative AOC grapes (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre), renovation of the original cellar and a gradual move upmarket to express the deep identity of the Languedoc terroir. One constant remains through the stages: the desire to create sincere, generous wines that make you want to share.

An estate turned towards the future: quality, ecology and organic farming
In 2010, Le Clos d'Isidore took a decisive step by converting to organic farming. This above all ethical choice reflects a strong will: to protect the soils, strengthen biodiversity and produce frank, living, authentic wines. Today, every cuvee of the estate carries this signature: a clean, considered viticulture, precise vinifications in the cellar renovated in 2007, a faithful reading of the terroir of Saint-Georges d'Orques and the Grès de Montpellier.
