L'Enclos des Songes, the soul of Braucol on a rare, living terroir
L'Enclos des Songes
A confidential South-West vineyard in Couffouleux (Tarn), on the Gaillac terroir. Founded in 2021 by a passionate couple, 1.80 hectare of old Braucol vines (over 50 years, mass selection), in organic conversion. Natural, artisanal cuvees.
A confidential vineyard in the heart of the South-West. L'Enclos des Songes is the story of a passionate couple who, in 2021, decided to bring back to life a singular plot of 1.80 hectare nestled in a preserved natural setting. Here, the Braucol grape has reigned for over 50 years: the old vines, from mass selection, sink their roots into a terroir of deep clays and light gravels, creating ideal conditions to express the aromatic intensity and purity of the grape. Each vine tells a half-century of history, each grape reflects the strength of an intact terroir.
An artisanal, patient and respectful approach
At the estate, nothing is left to chance. L'Enclos des Songes is in organic conversion, with a strong will to respect nature and the rhythm of the vine. This philosophy translates into hand harvesting, grapes picked at perfect ripeness, natural winemaking without artifice or superfluous technology, long ageing on fine lees and a care of the vine based on observation and precision. The wines are thus born in a rare form of tranquillity, far from trends, and stand out for their freshness, their softness of texture and a sincere aromatic depth.
An estate where time, the living and poetry meet
L'Enclos des Songes is not only a vineyard: it is a place of balance where patience, emotion and respect for the living are cultivated. Each bottle expresses the sincerity of a terroir and the will to give Braucol the place it deserves. The estate is in organic conversion; AB certification is not yet acquired.

Braucol, an emblematic grape of the South-West
Braucol, also called Fer Servadou or Mansois, is one of the most distinctive red grapes of the South-West. At L'Enclos des Songes, it has reigned for over 50 years on old vines from mass selection, on a terroir of deep clays and light gravels. These rare conditions give wines of fine aromatic intensity and great purity, between crisp fruit, freshness and depth. Each cuvee highlights the singular identity of this grape, which the estate has chosen to sublimate with patience and sincerity.
The cuvees of L'Enclos des Songes
Four cuvees tell the poetry of the place, all born of Braucol. Patience d'Ange Rosé is a delicate, luminous rosé, all freshness and brilliance. Nature Vagabonde Rouge is a free, pure and spontaneous red, naturally vinified. Le Petit, IGP Cotes du Tarn, is fuller and silkier, carried by the terroir. Finally, L'Enclos des Songes, the flagship cuvee, deep and vibrant, mellowed by long ageing, reveals the soul of Braucol in all its maturity.
