Just 5 km west of Colmar, the Domaine Krick extends over the villages of Wintzenheim - home to the prestigious Hengst Grand Cru - as well as Turckheim, Ingersheim, Colmar and Wihr-au-Val. Nestled at the foot of the Vosges massif, the vines enjoy one of the lowest rainfalls in France, a warm, sunny semi-continental climate, and an incredible diversity of soils.
A recent and ambitious family history
Though young in Alsace winegrowing history, the Domaine Krick has established itself in less than 70 years as a regional reference. Created in 1948 by André and Joseph Krick (1st generation), with the first sales in 1949, it was steered towards wine specialisation by Hubert Krick (2nd generation) from 1968, before the construction of the new cellar in 2003. Today, the 3rd generation - Philippe, Pierre and Marie Krick - continues production over 15 hectares.

A strong commitment to the environment
For the Krick family, respecting nature is self-evident. Since 2018, the estate has begun its ecological transition with HVE certification (High Environmental Value), followed in 2023 by Organic Agriculture certification for its first certified vintage. The estate favours soil work, observation of the vine and a drastic reduction of inputs, in order to produce healthy grapes while preserving biodiversity. The vineyard is home to a rich fauna and flora - typhlodromes, spiders, bats - that naturally contribute to the health balance of the plots, supported by grass cover every other row.
