Chateau Finegrave and Chateau Evoke, at the very heart of the Saint-Julien appellation (Medoc). A confidential family micro-estate founded in 1961 by Andre Leclerc, run since 2021 by the third generation under the name Domaines Andre Leclerc. Cabernet Sauvignon, 100% artisanal work, reasoned viticulture.
Chateau Finegrave came to life in 1961 thanks to Andre Leclerc. Born in the heart of the Medoc and raised among the great growths of Saint-Julien, he developed very early a deep bond with the vine and wine. From a few rows inherited from his uncle and plots acquired over time, he built a vineyard that would reach 0.85 hectare in 1995. A confidential, family and authentic estate, where each bottle carries on a story that continues from generation to generation.
The passing on of a unique know-how
A true pioneer, Andre Leclerc first vinified his wine at Chateau Barton, where he worked as estate manager, before producing his own cuvees at Beychevelle. His passion and his demand gave rise to wines renowned for their purity and authenticity. On his death in 1998, Marie-Claude and Fidel Eliceche took up the torch and carried on the family adventure. Since 2021, the children and their spouses have committed themselves in turn, structuring the estate under the name Domaines Andre Leclerc: to preserve the heritage while adapting it to today's challenges, with reasoned work, respectful of the environment, and a constant search for excellence.

Hand harvesting, gravity-fed cellar, bottles waxed by hand and 24-carat gold-leaf finishes: everything is designed to offer a unique sensory experience, a reflection of the terroir and the family history. Château Evoke, the refinement of Saint-Julien
In 2018, the estate expanded with 20 ares of Cabernet Sauvignon located at the heart of the Saint-Julien appellation, one of the most prestigious of the Medoc. On these gravelly, stony soils resting on a complex subsoil are born balanced, elegant wines of great finesse: this is Chateau Evoke, offered in magnum (2021 and 2022 vintages). The estate's red wines stand out for their deep ruby robe and their delicate bouquet blending red and black fruits, such as blackberry and blueberry. On the palate, the dense matter unfolds with elegance, combining power and tenderness. The blend, led by Cabernet Sauvignon (75%) and completed by Merlot (25%), expresses all the typicity of Saint-Julien.
