At the foot of the Roquecourbe-Minervois hills, where the winds of the Aude still caress the old stones, Domaine Montaude has carried on a deeply rooted winegrowing history since 1860. Patricia and Philippe Escoi today represent the sixth generation to cultivate this family vineyard, patiently built around the former lands of the Roquecourbe castle. Over the decades, each generation has added a stone to this living edifice, creating a modern estate, respectful of its past and fully committed to the future.

A strong commitment: organic agriculture and High Environmental Value

Driven by a desire to preserve its lands for future generations, the Escoi family committed the estate to organic conversion from 2019, obtaining AB certification for the 2022 vintage. Domaine Montaude also follows an HVE approach. Soils worked mechanically, no chemical herbicide, limited treatments adjusted to the observation of the vineyard, protected biodiversity: the result, purer, cleaner, more living wines, and a vine in perfect health.

The Minervois reds: Zenith, Les Perrières & Tradition

AOP Minervois - Syrah, Carignan, Grenache noir

Zenith (80% Syrah): the most accomplished cuvee, dense and refined. Les Perrieres (60% Syrah, pebble terroir): structure and freshness. Tradition (60% Syrah): the convivial, faithful expression of the Minervois. Three characterful reds, on Syrah, Carignan and Grenache noir.

Les Clauses is a 100% Cabernet-Sauvignon red in IGP Pays d'Oc: the estate's more modern signature, on black fruits, structure and depth. A Bordeaux grape that finds, at the heart of the Languedoc, a sunny and concentrated expression.

La Villa Romaine & La Serre

IGP Pays d'Oc - white and rosé

La Villa Romaine (100% Sauvignon Blanc): an expressive, fresh white, aromas of exotic fruits and citrus. La Serre (90% Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah): a delicate, gourmet rosé, all freshness. The immediate, sunny pleasure of the Minervois.
