The story of a return to roots and a winegrowing renaissance. After several years abroad, the owner of Domaine Le Filh chose to return to his native land to bring back to life a 25-hectare estate nestled in the heart of the Bordeaux area. Some plots, more than a century old, bear witness to the living memory of an exceptional terroir.
Trained in soft pruning and passionate about sustainable viticulture, he keeps 6 hectares of the best soils for a more intimate production, where quality comes before quantity. Working alone, he crafts wines of character, rooted in the Bordeaux tradition while bringing a resolutely modern view of the relationship with the land.

An artisanal viticulture, respectful of the environment
Domaine Le Filh practises an ecological, reasoned viticulture, banning all synthetic products: no chemical fertilisers, no weedkillers. The vines are worked respecting the soil, the plant and the natural cycles, following an approach close to organic farming. All the steps, from pruning to harvest, are carried out manually, guaranteeing a rigorous selection of the bunches and a perfect control of the grape's ripeness. The winegrower favours precise gestures, inherited from Bordeaux artisanal know-how.
A global commitment to biodiversity
The estate is committed to a holistic approach: planting of hedges to restore ecological corridors, installation of beehives and nesting boxes to encourage pollination and natural balance, and creation of wetlands to favour local fauna and the regeneration of the soils. The estate thus becomes a true living ecosystem, where nature and the vine coexist in harmony. The result: healthier grapes, purer wines and a land that breathes again.
