Founded in 1962 by Jacques Tissot from a plot inherited from his father, Domaine Jacques Tissot quickly became a symbol of Jura winegrowing excellence. The first vin jaune vintage, produced in 1969, marks the start of a unique family adventure.
Today, the estate spans 30 hectares, split between the AOC Arbois and Cotes du Jura, and continues to showcase the exceptional terroirs of this region, from Arbois, capital of Jura wines.

From the very start, Jacques Tissot and his wife Michelle revealed the typical characteristics of Jura wines. The next generation is now led by their children, Philippe and Nathalie, who combine tradition and modernity to develop wines recognised in prestigious houses and tables.
Together, they blend ancestral know-how with modern production techniques, guaranteeing refined wines consistent with the terroir.
A reasoned viticulture, respectful of the environment
Domaine Jacques Tissot practises reasoned farming, limiting the use of plant-protection products through soil work and cover crops on the plots. This approach encourages biodiversity, attracts many insects and maintains a natural balance in the vineyard.
