Founded in 1962 by Jacques TISSOT from a plot inherited from his father, Domaine Jacques TISSOT quickly became a symbol of Jura’s winemaking excellence. The first vintage of Vin Jaune, produced in 1969, marked the beginning of a unique family adventure. Today, the estate covers 30 hectares, spread across the Arbois and Côtes du Jura AOCs, and continues to showcase the exceptional terroirs of this region.

Since its beginnings, Jacques TISSOT and his wife Michelle have revealed the typical characteristics of Jura wines. The next generation, Philippe and Nathalie, now carry on the legacy, combining tradition and modernity to develop wines recognized in prestigious restaurants and homes. Sustainable and Environmentally Friendly Viticulture

Domaine Jacques TISSOT practices sustainable viticulture, limiting the use of phytosanitary products through soil work and cover crops. Traditional and Careful Winemaking

Winemaking at Domaine TISSOT combines tradition and modernity. The wines are aged in barrels and large oak casks for 12 to 30 months while benefiting from temperature-controlled vats for precise monitoring. The grape varieties – Poulsard, Trousseau, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Savagnin – fully express themselves thanks to plots composed of old vines and young plants exposed south/southwest, ensuring typicity and quality.
