Domaine Grand-Chemin: The Pure Expression of the Cévennes Between Tradition and Modernity

A Family Heritage Spanning Over 300 Years. At the foot of the Cévennes, just a short distance from Uzès and Anduze, Domaine Grand-Chemin has carried forward a rare family legacy for more than 300 years. Jean-Marc and Emmanuel Floutier, independent winemakers and guardians of this living heritage, now cultivate over 80 hectares of vines on clay-limestone soils renowned for finesse and balance.

The estate produces wines under IGP Cévennes, IGP Pays d’Oc and AOP Duché d’Uzès, each reflecting the warm personality of this sunlit terroir.

A Diverse Vineyard Shaped by 13 Grape Varieties

The diversity of Domaine Grand-Chemin is one of its greatest strengths. Syrah, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Viognier, Grenache… thirteen grape varieties thrive here, allowing the estate to craft wines that are sometimes fruity, sometimes structured, always elegantly approachable.

The wines bear the mark of a balanced terroir: living soils, vines bathed in light, and a know-how passed down through generations.

The Signature Cuvées of Domaine Grand-Chemin

Amour de Blanc: A tender, luminous white wine that perfectly expresses the freshness of the estate’s white grape varieties.

Amour de Gris: A delicate, subtly colored cuvée that highlights the finesse of Cévennes aromatics.

Amour de Rouge: A charming, generous, supple red ideal for showcasing Mediterranean grape varieties.

Combes: A cuvée of character, shaped by deeper soils and notable aromatic intensity.

Hors des Vignes: A free-spirited, modern wine conceived as a creative parenthesis within the estate.

Le Village:A tribute to family roots, offering a faithful expression of the terroir.

Le Faillet Blanc:A structured, luminous white wine marked by freshness and minerality.

Les Trois Seigneurs: A more ambitious cuvée with length, elegance and the structure needed for ageing.

A Recognized Commitment to Sustainability

Domaine Grand-Chemin embraced responsible viticulture long before it became a trend. Certified ISO 14001 since 2012 and HVE Level 3 since 2019, the estate combines reduced herbicide use, controlled grass cover, responsible resource management and continuous improvement of viticultural equipment.

The “Planet Émeraude” initiative reflects a clear ambition: advancing towards an increasingly sustainable form of viticulture.

Domaine Grand-Chemin: A Wine, a Story, a Landscape

Every bottle tells a fragment of the Cévennes: the warmth of the stones, the coolness of the nights, the dedication of the winemakers and the invisible bond uniting a family to its land for three centuries.

This estate is one of the essential names of Languedoc for anyone seeking sincere, carefully crafted wines driven by a sustainable vision.
