Some stories are measured in centuries. The Girard story begins nearly five hundred years ago, when a man named Jean Girard planted his first vines in Savigny-lès-Beaune. Seven generations later, Jean-Jacques created his own estate; in 2008, his son Vincent joined him. Today it is 21 hectares in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, climats listed by UNESCO and around 150,000 bottles a year, HVE3 certified, from regional Bourgogne Aligoté to Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru. Seven generations, a lineage in Savigny-lès-Beaune
Nearly five hundred years ago, a man named Jean Girard planted his first vines in Savigny-lès-Beaune. That founding gesture would become a true lineage. Seven generations later, Jean-Jacques Girard took up the torch, creating his own estate and carrying on the family spirit.
In 2008, his son Vincent joined the adventure, bringing new energy to this fine Burgundian story. Today the estate covers 21 hectares of carefully tended vines and produces around 150,000 bottles a year, each bearing the mark of farming that respects the terroir and the environment. Since 2020, the estate has been HVE3 certified, proof of a deep, lasting commitment.
