At Domaine des Maravilhas, each bunch tells the story of a preserved land. Here, no chemical fertiliser or weedkiller has ever been used. The winegrowers' work aims to maintain the balance and vitality of the soils, so that the vine naturally expresses all its potential.
Committed from the start to organic farming and biodynamics, the estate produces living wines, authentic reflections of their terroirs and of the artisanal know-how of its winegrowers.

A story of passion and renewal
Settled in 2014 in Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres, at the heart of the southern Rhone Valley, Morgane and Jean-Frederic Bistagne left their life in Switzerland to follow their dream: to make wine. Charmed by this estate with an evocative name, Maravilhas meaning marvels in Occitan, they infuse it with freshness, finesse and exigency.
Today, the team also counts on Michel Sinard, Lila Schneider and Zico, the faithful four-legged guardian, to fly the estate's colours high.
Exceptional terroirs in the Southern Rhone Valley
The estate extends over 24 hectares, of which 18 of vines, between the Gard and the Vaucluse. This geographical diversity offers a mosaic of prestigious terroirs and appellations that give the wines a unique personality:
Cotes du Rhone
Rolled pebbles and red clay
On soils of rolled pebbles and red clay, the Grenaches flourish fully, giving generous, spicy wines marked by aromas of garrigue.
Laudun - Cotes du Rhone Villages
Appellation recognised since 1967
Laudun offers balanced, fresh and fruity whites, as well as round and indulgent reds. A historic terroir where the Romans once watched over the Rhone from the Camp de Cesar.
Lirac
Cru of the Southern Rhone
Powerful, structured and elegant reds, as well as solar, mineral and slightly saline whites. Wines built for ageing, where freshness balances richness.
Chateauneuf-du-Pape
The Rhone's most famous appellation
Grenache and Syrah grown on three plots, for intense, fleshy wines with strong ageing potential. Among the emblematic cuvees: Espirito and Santo, combining aromatic power and exceptional finesse.
A philosophy guided by biodynamics
Certified Organic since 1992 and Biodyvin since 2004, Domaine des Maravilhas cultivates the vine in respect of the natural cycles. The treatments are exclusively plant- and mineral-based, favouring the natural defences and a deep rooting.
Manual harvesting makes it possible to pick healthy grapes, then fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in concrete vats or oak barrels. This intrinsic quality strongly limits the use of sulphur and copper.
A commitment to biodiversity
The estate maintains a rich and living environment: installation of bat and tit nest boxes, preservation of hedges and wooded corridors. Every gesture contributes to preserving the natural balance that is reflected in the unique personality of the wines.
