Domaine de Montbuisson
A 25 ha single-block estate in the Côte de Thongue, near Pezenas (Languedoc). Certified organic (AB) and HVE, an Independent Winegrower; around fifteen cuvees in IGP Côtes de Thongue.
In the heart of the Côte de Thongue, near Pezenas, Domaine de Montbuisson extends over 25 hectares in a single block, of which twelve are planted with vines, some nearly fifty years old. Here, the vine breathes the light of the South and the diversity of the soils.
Controlled yields, reasoned farming, preservation of biodiversity and traditional winemaking give rise to sincere, expressive wines that respect their environment. Between Montpellier and Beziers, the site offers calm, varied landscapes and a real field of discovery: exploring the cellar and the 25 hectares helps to understand the patient work that shapes each cuvee.

A singular terroir
The vines rest on terraces of Villafranchian gravel, alternating with sandy and gravelly marls. These complex soils give the wines freshness, structure and depth. The local flora and fauna take part in the natural balance of the vineyard: this preserved ecosystem guarantees the harmonious ripeness of the grapes.
Reasoned farming and authentic winemaking
Controlled yields, natural protection of the vines and respect for the soils: every choice aims to preserve the aromas and the identity of the grapes. Considered harvests, traditional gestures and precise ageings make it possible to fully express the personality of the terroir, whether in single-grape wines or in blends.
The estate's commitments
Domaine de Montbuisson is certified High Environmental Value (HVE): preservation of biodiversity, a considered plant-protection strategy, balanced soil management and responsible use of water. It is also certified Organic (AB), to protect the land, limit the environmental impact and guarantee sincere, healthy wines. Finally, as an Independent Winegrower, the estate farms its vines, makes the wines in its own cellar, ages them and markets them itself: an artisan approach, from grape to glass.

In white: Brise Buissonniere (Grenache, Sauvignon, Viognier), Le Rollier (Grenache), Le Viognier, Hacapo (jar, Roussanne and Grenache blanc) and Berenice (Grenache blanc). In rosé: the Sciaccarello. In red: L'Inattendu (Sciaccarello), Cuvee Buissonniere (Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault), Au Gres de Bacchus (jar, Grenache), Harmonie (barrel, Cinsault), Epilogue (barrel, Alicante), Sciaccarah (Sciaccarello, Syrah), Bois des Becasses (Cabernet-Sauvignon, Syrah), Grains Noirs (Syrah, Alicante) and Arcane (Alicante).
