A plural vineyard, a reflection of the great Rhône terroirs
Today, the estate farms 37 hectares of vines, spread across several emblematic appellations, each bringing its own personality:
IGP Méditerranée. Accessible, solar, straightforward wines, made for immediate pleasure.
Côtes-du-Rhône Sablet. Finesse, balance and freshness.
Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Séguret. Depth, structure and elegance.
Cru Gigondas. At the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail: controlled power and great complexity.
Châteauneuf-du-Pape - Saint-Ambroise. Barrel-aged, it embodies the estate's premium ambition.
This mosaic of terroirs allows Domaine de Cabasse to offer a coherent but never monotonous range, from sharing wines to age-worthy wines.
2022: the year of the shift
The year 2022 marked a decisive turning point for the estate. The vineyard grew from 15 to 37 hectares in production, taking Domaine de Cabasse into a new dimension. The direct consequence: production raised to around 180,000 bottles a year, without ever giving up on quality.
This growth was built in a controlled way:
An entry-level IGP Méditerranée. With particularly competitive value for money.
The rise of Séguret. With the noted return of Garnacho and Casa Bassa.
A prestige cuvee in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Aged in the Crozes cellars.
A deliberate evolution, without rushing the steps.
Means to match the ambitions
Grow, yes. But cleanly. Domaine de Cabasse has supported this expansion with concrete, structuring investments:
An enlarged cellar. For a more precise and controlled vinification.
A strengthened sales team. Including internationally, notably in the United States.
Renovation and storage. Building renovation projects and increased storage capacity.
A new tasting cellar. The upcoming creation of a tasting cellar, designed for welcome and sharing.
A label redesign. More legible, more modern and more distinctive.
Every decision goes in the same direction: clarify the message, assert the style and showcase the work accomplished.
