The story of a passionate winemaker

Since 1990, Jean-Marie Castells has devoted his life to the vine. First a farm worker, he became the owner in 2002 and embodies the figure of the winegrower-farmer, deeply attached to the land. His meticulous work combines respect for the terroir, rigorous grape variety selection, and family know-how passed down through several generations.

The history of the estate is rooted in a living memory: as early as the 1950s, Jean-Marie’s grandfather grazed his sheep here. The cross that today adorns the property’s wall recalls the artisanal and creative spirit of his ancestors, between winemaking tradition and cultural heritage.
