A family estate rooted in Burgundy since 1909. Set in Pommard, in the heart of one of the most emblematic vineyards of Burgundy, Domaine Chauvenet has perpetuated a winegrowing tradition for more than a century. Handed down from generation to generation, it evolves to the rhythm of the women and men who bring it to life.
In 2017, Jackie, daughter of Marlyse and Jacques, took over the running of the estate. Trained in oenology and viticulture, she brings a modern vision, combining respect for Burgundian traditions with targeted innovations to enhance each cuvee.

The richness of a multiple terroir
Domaine Chauvenet benefits from an exceptional diversity of terroirs, spread over sloping plots ideally located between the Bourgogne Hautes-Cotes de Beaune, Beaune, Pommard and Saint-Romain appellations. This geological and climatic variety allows the production of wines with distinct profiles, where each cuvee reflects the personality of its soil: the reds gain in depth and structure, while the whites express themselves with freshness, tension and elegance.
Mastered ageing: Burgundian tradition and modern precision
To reveal the full aromatic potential of the grapes, the estate practises a bespoke ageing: in stainless-steel vats, to preserve the purity of the fruit and freshness, and in barrels of 2 to 3 wines, to bring complexity and nuance without masking the expression of the terroir. Depending on the appellation, ageing extends from 18 to 24 months, allowing each wine to gain in structure, finesse and balance. This mastered blend of traditional techniques and modern tools gives birth to precise, authentic wines, faithful to the Burgundian spirit.
