A Family Estate Rooted in Burgundy Since 1909. Located in Pommard, at the heart of one of Burgundy’s most iconic wine regions, Domaine Chauvenet has upheld a winemaking tradition for more than a century. Passed down through generations, the estate has evolved alongside the people who nurture it. In 2017, Jackie, daughter of Marlyse and Jacques, took over the family estate. Trained in oenology and viticulture, she brings a modern vision that blends Burgundian tradition with thoughtful innovations to elevate every cuvée.

The Richness of a Multifaceted Terroir

Domaine Chauvenet benefits from an exceptional diversity of terroirs, spread across hillside parcels ideally located within the appellations:

Mastered Ageing: Between Burgundian Tradition and Modern Precision

To reveal the full aromatic potential of the grapes, the estate practices a tailored ageing approach:

• in stainless steel tanks to preserve fruit purity and freshness,
• in 2- to 3-year-old barrels to add complexity without overshadowing the terroir.

Depending on the appellation, ageing lasts from 18 to 24 months, allowing each wine to gain structure, finesse, and balance. This combination of traditional methods and modern tools results in precise, authentic wines that stay true to the Burgundian spirit.
